La Joya surf villa’s & bungalows

La Joya has 15 individual bungalows, 6 hotel rooms and 1 private villa.
La Joya resort was inspired by the seashells found a few steps away on the perfect white sand of Balangan beach.

Each of the bungalows has a unique round free-standing structure that gives the bungalow the appearance of a local dwelling, rather than a hotel. All of the buildings are built from locally-sourced white limestone and are decorated with local art, sculpture and carvings.

La Joya houses 8 standard bungalows, 7 deluxe bungalows, 2 deluxe rooms, 2 standard rooms, and 1 super-deluxe room and 1 grand-deluxe room, both of which are suitable for up to four people.
The gorgeous private villa, located adjacent to the grounds of la Joya, sleeps up to eight people.

The resort houses eight free-standing circular bungalows, all of which have been designed to holistically combine traditional Balinese elegance with modern convenience and comfort.
Each bungalow sits in its own exclusive tropical garden and features a lounging deck and most have views. Each bungalow houses a huge king-size bed and a secondary large day bed, which can be used as an extra bed for children. All bungalows have full en-suite European bathrooms with full hot water and air dryers.
All bungalows are air-conditioned. Mosquito nets allow you to leave the bungalow open to the ocean breezes if you prefer. Bungalows also feature safes for your valuables and mini-bars.

Deluxe Bungalows
Our seven deluxe bungalows come equipped with all the conveniences of the standard bungalows, but are more spacious and have more extensive gardens. These are perfect for vacationing families.

Villa Gajah: Six individual, private rooms:
The Villa Gajah is a two-story structure housing six entirely private, separate rooms, two of which are elevated. A villa by name only, these rooms are akin to private hotel rooms.

The villa, which is constructed from the same beautiful local white limestone as the resort’s bungalows is ideal for large groups traveling together who need several rooms, but is equally suited to couples and families.

All six rooms are equipped with king-sized beds, full European bathrooms, air-conditioning and mosquito nets and each room has been uniquely decorated in the traditional style.

The villa has four bedrooms on its ground floor, each of which has a private lush tropical garden. Two deluxe rooms on the ground floor are slightly larger than the two standard rooms.

On the first floor is the grand deluxe room, which offers a huge terrace with a sweeping view of the Indian Ocean. The grand deluxe room houses a king-size bed and an additional bed on a separate open-plan mezzanine that sleeps two additional guests. This room is perfect for vacationing families.

The villa’s super-deluxe bedroom is also on the first floor and offers a view of the Indian Ocean and of the resort’s intimate second pool. This room also has a secondary bed on an open mezzanine level, which sleeps two additional guests. The super-deluxe room is also perfect for families.

The Private Villa:
Probably the most unique and beautiful accommodation in Bali, our private villa features a private swimming pool, tropical garden, sun terrace and one of the best views in Indonesia.

Made from locally-hewn limestone and fitted with beautiful shell-inlaid hardwood furniture, the villa offers timeless luxury and privacy for up to eight guests, with direct access to Balangan Beach.

The open-plan villa is equipped with a kitchen-corner and lounge area downstairs and is decorated with local artwork and sculpture. A large hammock and daybed outside, by the pool, offer superb relaxation opportunities.

There is one private bedroom downstairs with an en-suite bathroom. The first floor sleeps up to six people, willing to share a large room, on three large beds in an open-plan format. There is also a large bathroom on the first floor.

The villa’s huge terrace also features a Jacuzzi with views over Balangan Beach and the Indian Ocean.

All sleeping areas are air-conditioned and all beds also have mosquito nets, allowing you to leave the windows and doors open to catch the sweet nighttime ocean breezes.
