THE MENTAWAI ISLANDS - KING MILLENIUM I
The Trip...
When the passengers arrive in Padang our land crew takes them to a hotel (hotel charges not included) in town with all comforts to rest until the boat disembarks.
The King Millenium I leaves Padang to the Mentawais at night depending on tides (weather conditions permitting) and arrives for the first waves at dawn the next morning.
The following days the boat goes around the islands to find the best conditions and guests can surf as much as they want in each spot.
At night, the King Millenium I either stays in quiet locations for sleeping or sails to other areas so as to maximise daylight hours for surfing.
Of course, it's not only surfing that's on offer: guests can fish, snorkel, visit the islands or just relax. We sail back to Padang during last night of the trip so we arrive to the port early morning.
Guests can stay onboard until the land crew takes them to the airport for their flights unless they want to go and rest at a hotel (hotel charges not included)

- Travel insurance
- Passport with 6 month validity
- Passport photocopy
- 8GB USB Flash Drive for the photos and videos
- In case of e-ticket, a printed copy of your itinerary
- Visa: you can get a VISA on Arrival at the airport for 30 days (25USD). You can apply for a 60 days one if you know you are going to be staying longer
- Personal first aid kit
- Cash (Euros or USD)
- Cash Rupias for porters (recommended in case of big luggage, e.g. 20000 IDR)
- Airport taxes to leave the country cost 150000IDR, for internal flight 30000IDR
